Viva La Difference!

One of the fundamental differences between Islam and Christianity (for the benefit of those Muslims in America who still don't get why they're having trouble fitting in), is that, while the former involves men controlling women, the latter involves men complementing women. Call me crazy, but I'll bet dollars to donuts that nothing resembling the fifth chapter of Paul's Letter to the Ephesians exists in the Qu'ran.

Have you read "Inside Islam: A Guide for Catholics", by Daniel Ali and Robert Spencer ? Scary book, especially for women and any man who respects women. Among other things,it informs us that shari'a says that a woman's testimony only counts as half of a man's, and that women can only testify in property cases. Therefore, a rapist can only be found guilty if there are four male witnesses to his crime-which is, of course,a circumstance so rare as to be negligible. When a woman accuses a man of rape, she can almost never prove it according to the law- and then she is often prosecuted herself for adultery or fornication. One source estimates that 75% of the women in jail in Pakistan are 'guilty' of being rape victims.
