Yo, Saint Anthony! I lost my "Master Race" membership card the other night!!!

Bishop Williamson of the SSPX is at it again. Apparently, the de-Christianization of Europe is not only the result of men not being able to control their women (good luck with that one, huh?), but with Christians not being able to control Jews (because one World War wasn't enough, I suppose), AND white people not being able to... oh, please, read all about it here.

Then SOMEBODY on that side of the street please explain to me when and how Caucasians specifically got the top job. (Jesus was obviously Jewish, but if He appeared today as He did then, would He look Caucasian enough for Bishop Willie?)

UPDATE: It should be made clear, that this author supports the notion of a Christian Europe. Not only is Christianity responsible for the very civilization of that Continent, and not only is the True Faith thus able to be duly proclaimed, but only under a Christian Europe may all be able to accept this True Faith with full consent of the will. This, as opposed to an Islamic civilization, where the predominent belief would be thrust upon them. In addition, this author supports the notion of "biblical headship" as described by Paul to the Church as Ephesus, inasmuch as the husband be willing to lay down his life for the wife, and that whenever the husband is rightly considered head of the household, the wife reigns as its heart. All this being said, the notion of superiority by virtue of color is repugnant to the dignity of the human person, as are the usual "conspiracy theories" regarding Jewish ownership of financial institutions, merchantile chains, et cetera.

I don't think Bishop Williamson is saying that the white race is superior but if you look at world economics you see the European and American economies (and cultures I daresay) as dominant. This doesn't mean that we can oppress everyone else but that we have to be charitable (we are) to those who rely upon us for financial and all other aid. Why has God blessed these two cultures- very simply b/c they are Christian. India is up and coming and I would say it is the presence of Catholic missionaries there. Christianity begets justice which begets a dominant, successful culture.

P.S. I am not a white supremacist, my husband and several of my children are not white ;).

Mary, thou hast writ:

"I don't think Bishop Williamson is saying that the white race is superior..."

I don't think he is either. But he may as well have, since this is what he DID say:

"The will of God for men on earth is that Catholic save Jew, that the man free look after the bondsman and that the man be head of the woman. So when the white men give up on saving Jews, looking after other races and leading their womenfolk, it is altogether normal for them to be punished respectively by the domination of Jewish finance, by the refusal to follow of the non-white races and by rampant feminism..."

Once again, that's "the refusal to follow of the non-white races." Okay, what part of that does not suggest that whites are superior?

Thanks again for writing in, Mary. Stay in touch.

Perhaps it's not as much a commentary on who IS superior but rather, whomever WANTS to be on top must dominate the others.

And to think someone once said "It's lonely at the top." (Mary, if that's you, at least sign your name. I'm trying to figure out how to remove anonymous posters, and I'd hate to exclude you from this forum, 'cuz you're good people, actually.

I think His Excellency is saying that since Jews are semitic very simply they are not white. Only in a politically correct country, where everyone is tripping over him or herself to not offend anyone are we afraid to say who is white and who isn't. I'm not. I'm white, my husband isn't. Pointing that out isn't racist. It is the responsibility of the Catholic (who is often white, or at least in respect to the Semite)to point the way to salvation for the Jew. I don't believe they "wait not in vain". They missed the boat and they better get ready for the next one or they will miss out completely. David you aren't one of those people who think that the Jews will be saved via the Old Covenant, do you?

And is there any way you can have people notified when someone responds to their comment, like on Dom's- that is cool.

I'll always sign my name, don't worry;)
Good discussion,
Mary Alexander

"David you aren't one of those people who think that the Jews will be saved via the Old Covenant, do you?"

The Jews were designated as God's Chosen People. God is unchanging, as the Angelic Doctor points out, therefore his covenant would not change. That being said, "He came unto his own, and his own received him not." God's Covenant works both ways, incurring promises on the part of both parties. God keeps His promises for those who love Him and keep His Commandments. The Jews did not accept the Messiah, and their part of the Covenant is unfulfilled until they DO accept Him.

The Catholic Faith is, by definition, a fulfillment of the Covenant (indeed, she is a party to the New Covenant), and therefore a fulfillment of Judaism. It is in this context that salvation is to be found only through the Church established by Christ, which is (that is, "which subsists in") the Catholic Church.

As to Bishop Williamson's comment, the excerpt speaks for itself. He assigns a superior role, not only to a religious belief, but to a race of people. ("So when the white men give up on saving Jews, looking after other races and leading their womenfolk, it is altogether normal for them to be punished respectively by the domination of Jewish finance, by the refusal to follow of the non-white races...") It is the latter, not the former, that is my bone of contention.

Stay in touch.

Here's my $0.02 on Williamson's comments. I'd say he's just using his shocking generalities to communicate the point that the Catholic Church (universal as it is) is generally a European enterprise, it is generally "white".

Throughout history Western (European) civilization, was Catholic and it was given the mission by the Church to Evangelize the world. Then Europe and it's outshoots (The US, Canada, South America, etc) dropped the ball and gave up the faith, now where do you find the Faith. Patches here and there, but even as we see today, power has shifted away from the Western civilizations. Now Africa is one of the most Catholic places in the world, the Eastern Bloc countries too. The king is supposed to conquer his enimies and lead his people, not give up an be forced to be lead by his people.

The conclusion wasn't meant to be taken as white=superior, but that history shows us the God intended the Faith to be spread first by the Apostles, then into Greece and Western Asia and Italy, then by the Italians into Europe (the Eastern Churches stayed fairly stagnant), then by Europe to the rest of the world ... but starting with the Reformation Europe started abandoning its role as the citadel and Catholic Crudasers.

All that said, his choice of words isn't terribly great. He's not really known for the press office vetting most bishops employ.

Hope this doesn't make me sound like a bigot, just from knowing more about Williamson than most, I think this is a bit more of what he meant ... hopefully.

I should add, that if the leader is dropping the ball in certain areas, it is only natural that others pick up where he is failing. This would explain his comments about the Jewish ownership of financial institutions.

It's very much like the Curia ... was almost exclusively Italian, but when the Papal States were wiped off the map, power shifted from Italy to the rest of Europe, then from there since WWII and Vatican II to the rest of the world, and now the Vatican is as much a melting pot as the US is ... and with that collegiality and a Pope that is in many ways powerless to stop renegade Cardinals and clergy.

Anyway, just some more thoughts. Just found the site and thought I'd make a few ... i'll stop now ... at least until the next post. :-)

"[T]he Catholic Church (universal as it is) is generally a European enterprise, it is generally 'white.'

No, it is not a European enterprise; it is universal. Before the rise of Islam, the northern part of Africa, and the Near East, were Christian. This was BEFORE the Christianization of Europe. We forget this because what was once a Christian part of the world is no longer, so we pretend it never happened. That doesn't mean it didn't.

Meanwhile, Williamson feeds on the paranoia of Europeans such as the National Front in France, and other ethno-phobic groups. This is in contrast to Our Lord's mandate to "go and preach to all nations," as opposed to "go and preach to all white people, and let them take it from there."

What he may have meant is obscured by what he actually said. Were he more careful with the latter, the former might be worthy of merit. It is not, therefore HE is not.

The last guy who tried to stem the tide of Jewish influence, did so at too high a price. And he didn't stop with the Jews. Shall the world be treated to this again?

One reason that Asia wasn't Christianized is that when Batu Khan asked for missionaries they were too scared to go. So his descendants became moslem instead. The nestorian heretics went east (400's?) which doesn't leave me believing that Europe was supposed to be Christianized first. It just leaves me believing in sin and heresy.
