Nike: Art Imitates Life

... such as it is.

I need help with this one, people. I don't know whether to be pensive, or outraged, by this Nike commercial. Even within its target audience (probably The Golf Channel, maybe ESPN), they're taking somewhat of a risk. This clip from yesterday's CBS Early Show features Barbara Lipford, advertising critic for the renowned trade rag AdWeek, with an evaluation: “Definitely powerful, creepy and cynical, but it does what Nike needed to do.”
