FAMW: “You’re Under Arrest!”

If you ever visit Arkansas, and pronounce it "arr-KAN-sas" instead of "ARR-kan-saw," you can be ARRested! If that's not bad enough, the mathematical value of "pi" in Indiana has been officially rounded up to the nearest whole number. (Hey, Hoosiers, why not just change the laws of physics while you're at it?)
