Andrew Aitken “Andy” Rooney, a radio and television writer for over seventy years, died yesterday of complications following surgery. He was 92. His final appearance on CBS' 60 Minutes was five weeks ago tomorrow. In 33 years on the show, he did 1097 commentaries. You can find his last one here.
