Today, at exactly 5:45 pm, my kid sister Pat turns 47. You'd never know it to look at her, so we're making a big whoop-dee-do out of it here. After a successful bout with a rare form of cancer, she gave up a promising career to help my other sister Mary take care of Mom and Dad.
