The Paradox of Inspiration

From Jean-Therese Delacroix of Sincerely, An Angry Catholic:

[B]y blogging, we are participating in an act of creation that came out of nothing and that this is most shown when we are in a mental block. Indeed, is it not true that we were created by a single thought of God? So, as we were created by a single thought of God, we are making a new article, a new hint, a new post -- all because of the Lord creating us first ...

Discuss.

Raison D’Etre

  • “Our entire daily lives cannot be occupied with purely religious practices; all of us have to eat, and most of us have and want to do many other activities besides. So though we cannot always be religious in this sense, we can always be Catholic, that is, the round of our daily activities can be conducted in such a way as to express and be in harmony with our Faith. And [this] can involve more than avoiding sin and exercising virtue.”
