In December of 1980, I was offered a job by a man who was among those landing on the beaches of Normandy, sixty-seven years ago today. This speech by the late President Ronald Reagan at Point-du-Hoc, forty years after the day of that landing, the largest amphibious operation in the history of warfare, is worth a listen for all those who love freedom.
