There was an article in USA Today this week, about how federal workers are paid so much more than their counterparts in the private sector. They also devoted a piece to this subject earlier this year, only this time they have a bar chart. We here at mwbh devoted a few column inches to this issue ourselves, in a piece entitled “Federal Pay and ‘The Real World’”. Such generalizations, while true in the general sense, are not true across the board, and that some professions actually earn less in the public sector.Just so you know we were ready for them this time.
