At least it's been for the last two weeks. Between the BSA Centennial Parade AND National Jamboree AND related events, I've been too busy with the subject matter to write about it. And then I took off yesterday on a lark for Philadelphia -- less than three hours, what could go wrong? -- to attend the Catholic Writers Conference. There, I had my own conference, about three hours plus dinner, with an up-and-coming Catholic author, who has penned a work that will break new ground in the Catholic genré.
