It's late Monday morning in the Philippines as this is written. In following the readership stats for this site, and tracking visitors from all over the world, I've noticed that most of my Pinoy friends have a particular interest in “The Ant and the Grasshopper” which is a story published here last September. It would appear that they are steered in the direction of this piece after searching for an example of a fable.Obviously my curiosity is piqued, as one can only surmise that many of you are taking the same correspondence course, one about either economics or fables. Or something. Perhaps one of you could enlighten me
