Wow, I just got home from driving five hundred miles in nine hours, and I am SOOOO tired! I've got some stories to tell, that's for sure. But for now, you'll have to settle for someone else's, especially since the world has just celebrated his 70th birthday. Sure, John Lennon was an irresponsible brat, with more money than he knew what to do with. But he made some terrific music (especially when collaborating with Paul McCartney) before dying tragically. So let's all enjoy this preview from the PBS AMERICAN MASTERS series, while I try to unpack here.
